Image Comics Announces Second Printing of LITTLE BIRD #1

Image Comics is listening to customer demand for buzzy new series LITTLE BIRD and announced they are releasing a second printing of the debut issue.

The five-issue limited series follows the titular character, a 12-year old girl attempting to reignite the Canadian Resistance after three decades of war against American Empire’s ultra-nationalist, theocratic government.  Writing duties are handled by director/screenwriter Darcy Van Poelgeest (writer/director of the award-winning short film THE ORCHARD) with art by Ian Bertram (HOUSE OF PENANCE).

Praise for LITTLE BIRD includes:

“Brims with excellent artwork.” —The Daily Californian

“Little Bird is nothing short of a masterpiece and we’re only one issue in. We realize how insane that sounds, but once you read this thing you’ll see what we mean.” —Nerdist

“There’s a lot to unpack in this story for a first issue though, so it might require a second pass, but that’s hardly a downside considering how easy it is to become immersed in Little Bird’s world.” —ComicBook.com

“Dark, surreal, and addictive.” —Comic Book Resources

The second printing of LITTLE BIRD #1 arrives Wednesday, April 10.

Issue #2 of the series comes to your favorite comic shop on Wednesday, April 17.
